September 2021

Preliminary Cluster Zoom meeting

The EU suggestion to build Clusters of similar projects oriented towards comparable topics led to these preliminary discussions and the decision within SOL-REC2 to explore this possible initiative.
May 2022

EURO Q Charm CopenHagen

Several EU funded projects were invited to make presentations of their project during these conferences. SOL-REC2 was presented by Pascal Négré as Coordinator.

Invitation of REA to attend ECOMONDO Meeting

Prior to a potential participation to the 2022 edition of Rimini based Ecomondo exhibition, the EU agencies invited several projects working on Plastic circularity and recycling to Showcase our project within the “Cluster meeting: H2020 & Horizon Europe projects contributing to the EU Plastics Strategy"

Webinar to prepare the meeting

In order to prepare the participation to Ecomondo, the EU agencies have organized a webinar to help all project coordinators and participants to prepare their presentation

ECOMONDO Attendance

After the individual presentations of the plastic related projects, Pascal Négré organised within Ecomondo week a dinner with the other projects leaders and suggested the organisation of a Circular Plastics Cluster and started the preliminary discussions

Webinar on Horizon Results Booster

To help the participants of the newly created Cluster we were all suggested to benefit the offers of the HRB able to support our dissemination and communication actions.
June 2023

First event participation at Essen

The first common participation to an event was the attendance to AMI plastics show in Essen where our Cluster had a common stand exhibiting our own projects and manned by the representatives on site.
November 2023

ECOMONDO 2023

During this new edition of Rimini based Ecomondo, SOL-REC2 had a triple action on site: a shared booth also attended by 5 other Cluster projects, a presentation of SOL-REC2 main objectives and technical issues presented by Pascal Négré and George Theodosopoulos at CIMPA’s final workshop, and a one-day attendance on a SOL-REC2 desk within the large stand of the European Union dedicated to the Circular economy innovation.
